US Jet shoots down "unidentified flying object" over Alaska

Lesser than a week after the military brought down a Chinese balloon that had  winged across the United States, A U.S. F- 22 fighter jet on Friday 10 Feb 2023 shot down an unidentified object  gliding high over Alaska, according to American  officers.    


Corresponding to Brig.Gen.
Patrick Ryder, the Pentagon's  leading  spokesperson, a sidewinder missile brought down the most recent object, which was about the size of a small  motor vehicle. John Kirby, White House  spokesperson  stated ''We do not know who owns this object". Likewise, he  told that it was unclear where it started its flight. The shootdown was approved by President Joe Biden, who gave a order from the White House. After a week-long flight across the United States and some of Canada, the Chinese  oversight balloon was shot down by another American F- 22 fighter  airplane on February 4 off the seacoast of South Carolina,  corresponding to the American authorities.   


According to the Chinese administration, it was a mercenary  exploration vessel. The  chairman fronted critique from several lawgivers for not shooting down the Chinese balloon  momentarily. Out of  concern for afflictions from falling debris, the U.S.troops had recommended awaiting until it was over the ocean.
